The Asylum

Easter 2010 

We have had very many requests for another event much earlier than next September.  Of course September is going to be amazing and we are greatly looking forward to it but we have thought about doing a second Asylum event before then.

We had a series of meetings with the venues in Lincoln yesterday confirming the dates and arrangements for September.  We also sounded the venues out about the possibility of an event between now and then.  They overwhelmingly supported the idea and the dates that seemed to work best for everyone was Easter weekend.

We are considering staging a small scale Asylum event in the realms of 300 people or so.  It would follow the same format as Asylum 2009 in so far as would include 2 evenings of entertainment, one day of programme material plus a relaxed promenading/social day.  The event would of course include exhibitions, competitions and the Bazaar Eclectica. Ot would also allow us chance to preview some of our ideas for September. 

We have performers, writers and traders interested in making this happen and have been overwhelmed with support for the idea.  The likely cost is around £35  a full ticket.
