 What's Planned for 2010?

We are looking forward to a bigger and better event for 2010.  We are expanding to incorporate Lincoln Castle which will have marquees for the Bazaar Eclectica and possibly space for outdoor exhibits and the croquet competition.

The Victoria Inn will be the venue for entertainments on both Friday and Saturday nights.  Friday night will also see bands playing in the Lawns and some speciality acts in the Little Theatre upstairs.

During Saturday daytime and Sunday daytime there will be a full programme of talks, panels and presentations on steampunk topics from creative writing to dance.  You will get a chance to meet authors such as Robert Rankin, Toby Frost and Bryan Talbot and get them to sign their books.  We will have our exhibition of contraptions and devices along with our steam bear competition.  Of course we will also be holding our expanded costume competition.

We are hoping to stage an art show and sale too.

Saturday night the 2nd Annual Empire Ball will be held at the Lawns with other entertainments at the Victoria and a quieter soiree at Charlotte House.
