The VSS has from its formation recognised excellence in the world of steampunk.
The Competitions each year for the Pugin, Rossetti, Verne, Brunel and Ruskin medals are always hard fought. These medals are awarded by a panel of judges when viewing work presented anonymously.
There are also the coveted Fellowships which are awarded entirely at the discretion of the MVSS to recognise the contribution to British Steampunk of outstanding individuals.

Please note that these awards are made for works released during the year previous (i.e. 2012) Nominations came from the general public with the shortlist being drawn from the nominations. Awards will be made following a popular vote of all AVSS members attending The Asylum. (Voting slips will be available when you register and collect your wristband.)
We are currently accepting nominations via the form below for:
BEST NOVEL
OTHER FICTION (e.g. graphic novel, short story anthology or comic)
BEST NON FICTION BOOK (e.g. about steampunk, how to book etc)
ALBUM
INDIVIDUAL TRACK:
ARTWORK (2D or 3D):
BABBAGE AWARD (for best use of the internet for furthering steampunk)
